Good day Ladies and Gentlemen,
I received the official email from Locals now requiring DC Locals Page to be a paid community. Not sure exactly when that will be enforced, but I will pay to keep the page up. It is each individuals option whether or not to pay for this page. You should be able to view it regardless, but you may not be able to post.
We do not use this page enough for me to justify anyone paying for it. I will keep it up so that I can post and communicate with those following. I still need to look into the promo code offers and see the exact details behind the “paid community” requirements. To be perfectly honest, majority of us pay for AMCON National’s Locals page, and you can always reach out there.
If you are in our Area; DC, MD, VA, even WV or PA, and you want to network closely with us, please email:
Be safe,

Good morning AMCON,
We hope everyone is well, and wish everyone a safe and Happy Independence Day.
Members of AMCON DC attended legal firearms self defense training in June, taught by a certified instructor, who is also a member of the community. Followed up by shotgun trap shooting that wrapped up the days training. We have a social event planned for July, welcoming family and friends, to assist in building those important relationships.
AMCON DC has started the transition to the new AMCON platform, and once our members have reported complete, this locals page will cease to exist. Not all of our members will make the transition, just as not all have remained on Locals, but they are still members of our community.
If you are in our area, and looking for a community with likeminded individuals focused on self reliance and preparation, with varying expertise, and participation levels, now is the time to join us.
Be safe out there,
JC
Not much has changed since our April Post, we’ve continued conducting training events and networking within our community. Members throughout MD, VA, and WV have been sharing information and knowledge that is greatly increasing members’ capabilities on preparedness and self-sustainability. Since our last post, we’ve covered camping/basic bushcraft topics, land navigation, medical care, and self defense basics.
Hikes, Legal Defense Training, and Weapons Training on deck for the summer.
As always, reach out if your interested in getting involved.
Be safe,
JC
